Money I Spent: Around $160, which included about $25 to gas up my car, and $135 for groceries. I had wanted to just run into Sprouts for some eggs and 3-4 other things, but when I saw how clean and empty Sprouts was, I decided to just knock out the whole list right then. It was really all that MUCH stuff, it’s just that I am used to buying garlic powder for 98 cents at Walmart, and the one at Sprouts was organic and $5.98. A lot of things on our list were like that. Maybe with all these organic groceries we’ll come out the other side a little healthier. Produce and eggs were priced well (18 eggs for $2.50, limit 2 per household). They were out of yeast and flour, but had a TON of packaged bread and bakery bread of all kinds, tortillas, pitas, lavash, wraps, and all other manner!

Money I Avoided Spending: n/a really

Extra Money I Found or Made: n/a no sales on eBay today

eBay Expenses: $0

Use-it-Up Challenge: Using up small bits and pieces of leftovers here and there. Used up the very last drop of a bottle of balsamic vinegar on my salad last night. Still working through the old almost-empty bottles of shampoo and conditioner I found in the linen closet.

Decluttering Challenge: n/a Didn’t really accomplish any cleaning or decluttering today!

Don’t Go Into a Store Challenge: Fail. I went into 2 Sprouts stores and the doctor’s office for kiddo’s MRI. At the doctor’s office, they met us outside and took our temperatures and asked us about our recent travel habits, if we have been around anyone acting sick, etc. Only after we passed all the tests were we allowed inside. We were the only patients that I saw in the whole place, along with 3 people who worked there. Kinda spooky.

Exercise Every Day Challenge: Fail. After our big trip to town, lunch, and a shower, I was not feeling like going outside or doing anything at all! So I did nothing. Planning for a long walk/jog/hike on Sunday though, and some work in the yard.

Thoughts: Stay At Home Day 18. That’s a lot of days! I have a long list of things to do this weekend but most of them are outside. Due to the cold and wind, I didn’t get anything done today. So Sunday should be pretty busy with weeding, cleaning, raking, planting! It’s supposed to get up to 50 degrees at around 11 a.m. and up to 58 around 3:00-4:00 so I’ll probably plan my walk/jog/hike for 2:30 ish and work in the yard starting at around 11 to get the most warmth possible. That should pretty much fill up my day. At some point I’ll take the kiddo for a driving lesson. This coming week, we are going to add in some cooking lessons! This week is her real Spring Break, so even though the schools have closed for the rest of the year due to Covid-19, and they are coming up with a “continuing education plan” to keep studies going through the end of May somehow, they won’t be doing anything this coming week! So we’ll enjoy what might be the last week of doing absolutely no school.
