Money I Spent: $0

Money I Avoided Spending: n/a, didn’t go anywhere, didn’t shop online!

Extra Money I Found or Made: eBay: Sold an emergency weather radio for $20, and an embroidery kit for $40.

eBay Expenses: $0.

Use-it-Up Challenge: The main use-up lately is eating leftovers. We had leftover ribs for dinner and salad with microgreens and sprouts that I grew myself. My next goal (more of a stretch-it-out challenge) will be to have and use less of things. I probably only need 1 egg if I’m putting leftover turkey and broccoli in it… things like that.

Decluttering Challenge: N/A

Don’t Go In a Store Challenge: Success!

Exercise Every Day Challenge: Success! Really did NOT want to exercise today (wanted to work on a puzzle and take a nap), but made myself go anyway. It was the slowest walk/stroll, but I was out exercising for 45 minutes, and had over 11,000 steps today. Then, after dinner, kiddo and I went out and played some volleyball in the driveway with the new rebounder. We were in sandals, so it wasn’t very athletic, but we were out moving our bodies around for another 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my pedometer on!

Thoughts: Stay At Home, Day 19: I cleaned out 2 small flower beds in the back yard. I had planned (a few months ago) to make these into flower and herb gardens. Now I’m thinking I might put herbs in the one right outside the back door, and then possibly something edible (squash?) in the other one. The vines could grow out into the yard without hurting anything. Herbs are so painfully slow to grow from seed. If I can get my hands on some decent-sized plants, I’ll fill up this little flower bed with parsley, sage, thyme, oregano, and rosemary. I’d like to plant a lot of mint somewhere that it can grow/spread without bothering anything else. Maybe I can get it to grow beneath the big rose bush in the other flower bed.
