Money I spent: $25.00 to gas up my car at Costco!
Money I avoided spending: I had to go into work for an hour this morning and I really REALLY wanted to stop at Starbucks for a cold brew (or a hot brew, or any brew really). BUT the only thing that stopped me was fiscal fast! $5 saved. Have avoided online shopping even though I keep thinking of things I want/need. It’s about time to start my February wish list!
Extra money I found or made: n/a
Use-it-Up Challenge: Nothing, really. Looking around the house, I see we have a ton of stuff. Tons of toiletries, groceries, etc. We do have some ham in the fridge that we need to use up in the next day or two.
Thoughts: I don’t have much in the way of thoughts; I’m tired! Maybe I’ll have thoughts tomorrow.
Money I spent: $5 (cash out of my wallet) for some cream cheese needed for dinner.
Money I avoided spending: I needed to get a couple scripts refilled at Walgreens today, but the line was too long and I didn’t want to deal with it. While I was there, I was starving (just came from BJJ training) and I looked through their supplement section for some kind of keto-friendly protein or meal replacement bar. Couldn’t find either. Decided I could wait 20 more minutes and eat what was at home. I saved a few bucks and somehow didn’t starve to death.
Thoughts: Not sure when my first $0 day will be. On Jan 3rd, I need to refill those prescriptions (which will probably cost less than $10), and I’ll be paying $40 for a jiu-jitsu seminar I signed up for weeks ago. Maybe Sunday, 1/4 for my first $0 day???
