Money I Spent: A lot — let’s see, ordered 2 pairs of computer screen viewing glasses on Amazon, for about $15-20 each, ordered Sabrina a new pair of volleyball kneepads, for $18. Groceries at Walmart got a little out of control, and add in a birthday party present and wrapping supplies etc. and it was about $170 total. Which is what happens when I just make a list but don’t plan out the money part of it. Hopefully next week we’ll just need some produce and dairy and will be able to get by on $50! Also went to a movie which cost $20, got 2 drinks and 1 small popcorn for $13.50. It was a very spendy day.
Money I Didn’t Spend or Extra Money I Made: We almost got smoothies at Kiva Juice but the guy was tooo slow so he saved us $10. 😀
ebay: Sold a skirt for $12 (paid $1); sold a travel bag for $30 (paid $1), sold a needlepoint for $25 (paid .50).
Use It Up Challenge: Nothing really, unless you count all the junk food snacks in the pantry I “used up” because there was no one home to stop me 🙂
Sugar I Ate: Actually didn’t a lot of sugar… I was mostly into the salty snacks.
Sugar I Avoided: Really wanted some Twizzlers or something at the movie, but didn’t get any.
Thoughts: Have kind of fallen apart on the whole fiscal fast and sugar detox thing, but starting over fresh on Sunday Aug 19!! It will help that we are not leaving home on Sunday.

Use It Up Challenge: eggs, and toast again with some added hash browns and jelly and V-8 so not very “use it up”
Sugar I Ate: 1/2 individual apple pie, those are gone now, thank goodness! The jelly and also had some in a glass of tea, also. So quite a bit of sugar………….
Sugar I Avoided: pistachio ice cream!
Thoughts: I kind of eat sugar with out thinking about it till later
