Money I Spent:   About $3 for a sprite and a bottle of water after my doctor appointment.

Money I Didn’t Spend or Extra Money I Made:  Didn’t go anywhere else due to business yesterday, so no threats to the wallet.

eBay: sold a lapel pin for $10, probably paid around 25c or less for it but don’t remember specifically buying this one. Sold a great LL Bean denim jacket for $45 to someone in Canada, paid $1.

Use It Up Challenge:  Leftover hamburger patties and leftover pork went into tacos, along with lettuce, cheese, etc. that we already had. Ed had to buy some tortillas though.

Sugar I Ate:   Just the sprite in the morning, then did good the rest of the day.

Sugar I Avoided:   Nothing really!

Thoughts:   Not bad!

  1. Money I Spent: $34.00 for lunch with the oldtimers at Bravo, my caprieza (sp) salad and wedding soup was delicious. Winston had shrimp scampi and salad lunch combo. Dad had tea and I had coffee, I noticed on bill each was 3.00 so that was 6 that did not have to be. Also got to town about 30 minutes early so walked around Trader Joes and got 2 oranges and several pkgs of tortillas for total of 9.73.

    Money I Didn’t Spend or Extra Money I Made: Lunch ran late so did not have time for Costco, that saved a lot but will probably go tomorrow.

    Use It Up Challenge:

    Sugar I Ate: I don’t think I had any sugar

    Sugar I Avoided: all the sugar

    Thoughts: Going to Costco and Walmart in the next few days so that will be $$$$$$$$$$


  2. Money I Spent: Hotel, $49 on gas for the truck. $3.75 on soup at lunch. $4.50 for tortillas on the way home.

    Money I Didn’t Spend or Extra Money I Made: N/A today, unless you count spending 2 hours at the VA starting the process of having my disability percentage reassessed. Getting this done could potentially put several thousand dollars in my pocket over the next few decades.

    Use It Up Challenge: Leftovers for breakfast and for dinner.

    Sugar I Ate: No sweet treats yesterday.

    Sugar I Avoided: No real cravings for sugar yesterday, either.

    Thoughts: After the weekend, I really need to try and finish out the month strong.
