Money I Spent: Jan 27: $0, Jan 28: $12 for some groceries. I’ve spent a little more on groceries this month than I planned, but way LESS than every month March-December 2020.
Money I Avoided Spending: Just got a few things I needed at the store, didn’t do a full “oh this looks good” shopping trip!
Money I Made or Found or Saved: eBay – sold a purse for $20 and a skirt for $18.
Use-it-Up Challenge: Cut up the toothpaste tube to get the last bits out! It lasted 4 more tooth brushings after I cut it open.
Thoughts: I always kind of run out of journaling steam at the end of the month! But I’m very happy to say I’ve probably saved around $1500 this month just from not going nuts in the grocery stores and not going out to eat and not buying whatever I want online. I’ll do a full analysis on Feb 1 and see what the number really is.
