Money I Spent: $0
Money I Avoided Spending: Should have probably gassed up my car, but will do it June 16.
Money I Made or Found or Saved: eBay – sold vintage Girbaud sweatshirt for $30, a pair of Burberry canvas shoes for $35, and a patch for $8.
Use-it-Up Challenge: n/a unless you count the leftover hot dogs I had for lunch at work. Literally just 2 leftover hot dogs, cut up and dipped in mustard. Sounds sad but it was very tasty! Also put leftover taco meat into my omelette fritter for breakfast. Finally used up the brussels sprouts that have been sitting in the fridge for 3 weeks. Sliced them very thin and fried them, then topped with a sriracha-lime aioli. Yum!
Thoughts: I bought a few lots of patches/badges (girl scout, boy scout, etc.) on eBay and they arrived. There are a ton, which should keep me busy and entertained listing for a while. They are also very easy to list, to store, and to ship. I think I spent about $100 in total for 4 lots of them (1 lot hasn’t arrived yet). Sometimes I can sell 1 patch for $12 or so, or little groups of 2-5 of them for $15. I’ll be going through them over the next few days to organize them. I have no doubt they will sell! And this will be a great way to get my eBay listings number UP.
