Money I Spent: $0

Money I Avoided Spending: n/a really. I heard back that my car might be ready for pickup on Monday, and I’m avoiding putting gas in the rental car just to spite Ford and make them pay for it.

Money I Made or Found or Saved: Sold a cross stitch kit for $16.

Use-it-Up Challenge: Had butter chicken for dinner for the 3rd night in a row! Also had leftover steak for lunch; clearing out the fridge.

Thoughts: I saw that one of my old favorite Salvation Army stores was back open. I had this fantasy that so many people had been stuck at home KonMarie-ing their houses during quarantine, that all the thrift stores would be packed to the rafters and everything would be super cheap to move it quick. So I wanted to go check it out. I did NOT want to go in and actually go shopping, I just wanted to see what it looked like in there. So I left my wallet in the car, put on my mask and walked in. It was… underwhelming. It was just like it was before the shutdown, if not even more sparse. Plus, a new manager took over this shop about a year ago and he has totally ruined it. Prices are so high and everything is disorganized, plus the guy is just annoying. Like, don’t make conversation with me, just let me look at these old knives in silence. LOL. There was maybe 1 person shopping in there and 2 workers. Everyone had masks on. I made a beeline for the door, confident that I’m not missing anything right now. Maybe next week I’ll go peek in somewhere else and see what’s up. I definitely need fresh eBay inventory in the next couple of months! Funny, I had made a pledge to myself to not buy any new eBay inventory — I think it was supposed to be February and March. At this point it’s been 4 months and counting!
