Mid-May Challenge, Day 10:
FISCAL FAST CHALLENGE: $15 to fill up my car with gas! Had 0.40 off per gallon at Smiths which made it about $1.29/gallon.
DON’T GO INTO A STORE CHALLENGE: Success! Wanted to go get my oil changed after work, but work went longer than I planned so I skipped it for now.
EXERCISE CHALLENGE: Fail. I developed some lower back pain while sleeping, couldn’t get comfortable at work, and just didn’t have it in me to exercise with back pain.
KETO CHALLENGE: Success! I didn’t even break into the jar of homemade caramel for a taste today! Cut a colander full of lettuce from the garden for a huge salad for dinner, to go with our grilled summer sausages. Since we started keto, I have been eating a ton of greens with EVOO and balsamic. I think because the balsamic is a little sweet, and a little goes a long way. I could have this simple salad every night for dinner.
EBAY LISTINGS CHALLENGE: No listings today, though I did a couple more drafts. I need to move on to something besides clothes because I’m getting bored! But I have a whole tub of clothes out and ready to list, so I’ll finish that up first.
THOUGHTS: I need to get back into an exercising habit of some kind. Right now I’m just forcing myself to do 30-minute walks. When we were geocaching, it was easy to go for 2-hour walks/hikes several times per week. Now we have found almost all the geocaches within an hour’s walk from our house! Maybe I’ll start driving to a new starting point and then branching out from there each time. I know there are hundreds more to find! I’ll make it my goal to go on a geocache hunt this weekend (whichever day my back feels good). I also really REALLY need to start stretching every day. I think I’ll put a reminder note in the bathroom, in the hopes it will remind me to stretch before bed every night.
