Mid-May Challenge, Day 3:
FISCAL FAST CHALLENGE: Success! Spent $0, though I did put something in my Amazon cart that I kind of wannnnt to buy right now. It’s a small clock for my bedroom nightstand. I want to be able to see what time it is without having to get my phone, mostly because my phone charging cord is very short, so to check the time I have to either stand up and go to the phone, or unplug the phone. I just want to be able to look over and see the time. First world problems, but still. Checking the time tends to wake me up. The clock I’m ordering is $13 and has a USB phone charging port built in, so it should solve 2 problems in 1.
DON’T GO INTO A STORE CHALLENGE: Success! Went to work and came home. I wanted to stop into Sprouts to check the meat situation, but I was too tired after work so put it off another day or two.
EXERCISE CHALLENGE: Success! I put on my new shoes and went up the trail for a walk/jog. Usually I’m pretty worn out after a day at work so I just kind of mosey around for 30 minutes, but today I had extra energy, so I walked, jogged, and did a little of what I would dare call “running” as fast as I can personally go, for a few intervals in there. It felt really good to be outside doing activity on purpose!
KETO CHALLENGE: Success! I stayed at 19g carbs for the day, even after a bite of kiddo’s homemade tortillas (why she felt compelled to make tortillas at 8 p.m. I’ll never know).
EBAY LISTINGS CHALLENGE: Success! I listed 5 shirts before work yesterday.
THOUGHTS: I think I’m ready to start lifting weights. I feel like even though I’m outside being active and doing yard work and sticking to keto most of the time, I’m kind of getting soft in the muscle department. I’ll figure out some kind of weight workout to do at home a few days per week, to add to my walk/jog/hike/run schedule.
