Money I Spent: $14 — it really SHOULD have been a $0 day, but the kiddo wanted to ride with me to the post office, then she asked if we could stop at the local grocery store. We are planning to stay in as much as possible over the next few weeks while schools are closed, so I got her some snacks and a pretty little potted flower for her room. I mean, if your kid asks for a plant and some jello during a global pandemic, how do you say no? 🙂
Money I Avoided Spending: n/a
Extra Money I Found or Made: eBay: sold a pair of shoes for $40 + shipping and some old player piano rolls for $20 +shipping.
eBay Expenses: $0
Use-it-Up Challenge: n/a though I am very close to finishing off one of our little hotel shampoos!
Decluttering Challenge: n/a really, though I am carefully packing up and labeling my ebay inventory to move what I can out to my SheBay Shed. What this has resulted in currently is a very cluttered and messy dining room, but once I get all these tubs bagged and moved, the dining room and the eBay office will be considerably less cluttered!
Thoughts: I got our thermometer out so that we could periodically check our temps to make sure no one is getting a fever. (We all feel fine, except seasonal allergies are terrible right now, so I wonder if new flu symptoms could sneak in between all the sneezing and itching and be harder to notice?) Anyway, the thermometer keeps saying 96.6, every time I try it. I feel like it’s not working right because whose temp is always exactly the same? So I asked Ed to look for a thermometer in town on his way home from work. But the stores are out of thermometers! So we ordered one online, though they are getting a little sparse out there too.
