Money I Spent: $17 at Lowes for a couple of tarps. One to cover the “bog of eternal stench,” and one for the firewood pile.
Money I Avoided Spending: I was in town today to hit jiu-jitsu and make that Lowes run. I can’t always be trusted to do the right thing, especially when there is a Sonic right next door to Lowes. (No one will know…), but I kept my eyes on the prize and only bought what I planned to buy.

Use It Up Challenge: Used some old (but not bad) carrots, celery, and spinach in a breakfast smoothie this morning.
