Money I Spent: $62 for groceries; $32 or something like that at Sweet Tomatoes.
Money I Avoided Spending: Opted for a few generic things at Smiths (generic saltines for .99 vs. store brand at 1.99 vs. name brand at 2.99, things like that)
Extra Money I Found or Made: eBay sold two animal figurines for $18.50 each; one passport wallet for $20.
Use It Up Challenge: nothing really, I don’t think?
Thoughts: re: photo for the day — bought some NY steaks on sale a couple of weeks ago and will eat on Saturday. Less than $14 for 3 steaks works out to <$5 per steak! Great deal. We will probably add a box of “cheesy potatoes” that we got on sale for $1 a couple of weeks ago, and a can of peas or something ($0.50.) So like $15 total for a dinner that would cost probably $75+ at a restaurant.

Thoughts: Volleyball practice days (Mondays and Fridays) are fiscally tough, but I think we’re doing pretty good.

Money I Spent: 24.99 Sweet Tomatoes, good, did not have to cook or clean so worth it I guess. Also another 75 for acupuncture. One more next week, then time off to decide whether to continue, Don’t see keeping up $300 a month.
Money I Avoided Spending: In ABQ no shopping!

Thoughts: I also use only Dawn dish soap. sometimes, a tiny drop is all you need and I think it might be good for septic system as it breaks down grease.
