Money I Spent: Approx $45 at Target for some things — a couple of groceries, some mouthwash, some protein bars and protein shakes. It adds up quick, but there was nothing “extra” purchased. Oh well I did get 2 pints of diet ice cream.
Money I Avoided Spending: Went to Target specifically (instead of somewhere else) because they have the powdered peanut butter I like — PB2. Typically it is $4.69/jar, but lasts for a couple of months. But yesterday Target had the chocolate flavor on clearance for $2.28, so I bought 3 of them. Which means, I spent a little extra yesterday but saved quite a bit in the long run.
Extra Money I Found or Made: ebay: sold 1 lapel pin for $9.99; sold a pair of shoes for $14.19; sold a dress/romper for $35.
Use It Up Challenge: leftovers for lunch
Thoughts: The store brand of mouthwash at Target today was $1.49. The same size of Listerine was $3.49. I don’t think my mouth cares quite that much, so I went with the store brand. Sometimes coupon shopping on store brands can be much cheaper than buying the store brand, but when you have no coupon, always check out the store brand first!

Thoughts:
Money I Spent: $80 check to the septic tank guy, otherwise would have been a $0 day. Sometimes being a homeowner bring unexpected costs.
Money I Avoided Spending: Packed my breakfast and lunch, stayed away from the post-jiu-jitsu nitro cold brew coffee (it’s SO good, but $4/cup).
Extra Money I Found or Made: None today.
Use It Up Challenge: Leftovers…all the leftovers.
Thoughts: None of any consequence.

Money I Spent: almost a zero day, $5.63 at Triangle for milk, frozen peas, and a little can of black olives for my pizza later this week. Also $75 for Dad acupuncture but that is medical. It does seem to be helping some.

Thoughts: some ingredients for pot pies were “use it up” and some not. hot rolls were “use it up” as we got them for Christmas Dinner, then forgot to cook them.
