Thoughts: Friday I spent around $51 at TJ MAXX for some clearance items. I didn’t report it on FFFF because it was all stuff I’m going to sell on eBay, so not really “shopping” more like “investing in my business.” Anyway, the photo on this post is of an item I got on clearance for $3.00. It’s a little cheese board with a spreading knife, I would picture it for a small wheel of brie. I want to keep it, because it’s kind of adorable, but I’m going to sell it instead. I don’t NEED it, and I definitely don’t need a reason to eat more brie! This brand of housewares is called Rae Dunn, and her stuff is quite collectible (especially items in bright colors, or that are white with a colored interior; also especially the Halloween items for some reason). I think this style is called “long letter” due to the font used. I picked up a few other Rae Dunn items, including 2 coffee mugs and a Christmas mug + ornament set. I’m pricing them a little high hoping that next fall they will sell when people start their Christmas shopping.

Money I Spent: $15 volleyball tournament entry fee. $71.34 at Red Robin for dinner (we’ll split this at the end of the month).
Money I Avoided Spending: Choosing to fast through the day mentally prepares me not to buy snacks or junk at the volleyball tournaments, so that saves some money, and also saves my Quest Bar stash for post-workouts, as they’re intended.
