Money I Spent:   Approx $100 on groceries. $24 of this was for a case of turkey burger.  This is a good amount for us considering I only spent about 20 minutes making the list. If I spent 2 hours, I can get it down to $50. Also spent $$ on P’s birthday dinner, but I’m not sure how much and I’m too lazy to look it up right now. But it was worth it. 🙂

Money I Didn’t Spend:   Didn’t get anything not on the list at the grocery stores!

Use-it-Up Challenge:  eh… can’t think of anything

Thoughts:  I love grocery shopping on FF months because a) we save lots of $, b) it doesn’t take long to shop, c) we don’t wander around going “do we need this?”, and d) it’s so fast to put groceries away when we get home!

  1. Money I Spent: P’s dinner was $83 each for Beth and I. Pretty spendy, but fun and totally worth it for a birthday celebration. Also spent $3 at Lowes.

Money I Didn’t Spend: I got out of Lowes spending only $3.20. That might be a first. I can always think of things to spend money on at a home improvement store.

Use-it-Up Challenge: I used up all the useful life on my chainsaw blade clearing some trees on our property. Fortunately, I have another one in the garage, so I won’t need to buy a new one any time soon.

Thoughts: Looking forward to lower credit card bill next month!
