Money I Spent:   $11 at Smiths for sleepover spaghetti fixins. Going to make spaghetti, some 2-ingredient garlic bread sticks, and for breakfast tomorrow they can have eggos.

Money Victory ($ I avoided spending):  Avoided spending $8 for the ground beef NOT on sale and just got ground turkey instead for $3.

Use It Up Challenge:  TBD, maybe nothing much today.

Thoughts:  When Feb 1 comes, I am ordering a label printer for my eBay business. 🙂 I think that’s the only big thing I’ve put on the Feb list so far. I will probably order more garden seeds too.

  1. Money I Spent: $39. $16 for Sabrina’s birthday present at Amazon, and $23 at Sweet Tomatoes for lunch with the LOML.

Money Victory ($ I avoided spending): No significant victories this day, just keeping spending to a minimum.

Use It Up Challenge: Still eating those amazing pickled garden jalapeños in everything!

Thoughts: I had a milestone today; the total of all my investment accounts (401k, Acorns and Betterment) went over $100K!

  2. Money I Spent: Well after some thought I decided to break the fast. I ordered 3 pairs of pants on internet like the ones I always get. They were 40% off and then for a couple of days another 20% off, so it made them 11.50 each. Thought it was ok deal. I also got Sabrina $49 cash at the bank for her report card reward. But I was already committed to that so no decision to be made………….

Money Victory ($ I avoided spending): Don’t know yet as it is only 9 in the morning, lots of temptation time left!

Use It Up Challenge: still have lots of good stuff.

Thoughts: I have a bit of a cold, I think it is In my voicebox as my cough sounds like a child’s croupy cough. As the emergency room nurse said when we first took Matt in the middle of the night for bad cough “When they bark like a dog it is croup” Treatment – spend the rest of the night and the next day in a croup tent. Upper half of body tented, humidifier with ice in the water blowing into tent. I don’t know how many times we did that and it always worked. So steam for croup or shower or humidifier but the BEST is very cold air.
