Money I Spent: I spent about $20 on some supplies for my eBay store — clear packing tape, tiny bubble envelopes, and a lint roller. Also after Sabrina’s dental visit (no cavities!) we stopped at Sonic and I spent about $12 on a snack for us, plus a burger for her to take home for dinner.
Money Victory ($ I avoided spending): Went to Walmart for my ebay supplies and really wanted to pick up a sweatshirt to take to the gym, because I was on my way to the gym and it was COLD. In the olden days (December) I would have just bought a $13 sweatshirt on clearance and thought nothing of it. But this time, I decided to just be cold at the gym and remember to pack a sweatshirt tomorrow.
Use It Up Challenge: Leftovers for lunch! — ham/veg/bean soup and a grilled chicken thigh.
Thoughts: I didn’t mind spending some $ on ebay supplies. I feel like it’s investing in my side business, which will help it grow and be more profitable over time.
Other thoughts: I WISH WE WERE IN HAWAII WITH MATT 🙂 🙂
Money I Spent:$0 or $60, depending on how the fiscal fast commissioner rules. I didn’t buy anything, but my daughter needed some cash to help her out with a car situation, so I had to Paypal her $60.
Money Victory ($ I avoided spending): I didn’t really have a money victory today.
Use It Up Challenge: I wanted some pickled jalapenos. We didn’t have any of the store-bought variety in the pantry. I went out to the garage and found some of Beth’s home-pickled jalapenos that were grown in our garden.
Oh my god.
They are DELICIOUS! Way better than anything you can buy at the store. I am going to sad and depressed when they’re gone, but I’m not planning to pace myself. 😀
Thoughts: I agree with Beth…I want to be in Kauai with the Oregon Coxes too!
